Well it's once again time for me to bring you another gaming moment that made me cringe. This time in (dis)honor of Dead Rising 2's release, a review will be up shortly, I have chosen an especially awful moment from the first game in the series.
When it comes to Dead Rising, there are a plethora of moments to choose from that annoy the ever-loving hell out of me. The save system is awful and unfair, the text is unreadable on non-HD television, and the boss fights are every kind of frustrating. Now, it wouldn't be a challenge to find you an example of how bad the text is and I couldn't really provide a visual aid for the save system, so guess what that leaves.... the boss fights. And there is one in particular that sucks above all others (for me anyway), cult leader Sean.
First off, Sean is an awful name for a cult leader. Second, using melee weapons is a bad idea because he has a huge sword that completely owns. Third, the aiming in the game is rubbish so anytime you pause to shoot you will most likely be killed. So how do you beat him? Blind luck.
Watch below.
British makes everything better
See... he was level 50 and he almost died. And if you actually spend the time getting to level 50 then you spend too much time playing Dead Rising. Eff Sean and his entire cult. They somehow make an annoying game even more annoying.
