So! Microsoft Press Conference.

First off Modern Warfare 3,
MW has been a solid CoD franchise, and this games seems no different. As the demo starts up, you and your team are a special ops team, apparently with the intent of finding and planting a mine on a submarine that is near by. As you navigate through the water, you are dodging mines, and staging to ambush the Submarine. As the submarine passes of your team, who is holding as still as possible as to not be detected by the sonar, you prepare to plant mines on the unaware submarine. The mines explode, sending the sub to the surface. Your team boards the sub, kills the captain, and steals his missile launch codes. You and your CO launch the missiles, destroying the enemy navy. You flee on a speed boat, landing into an escape helicopter, and flying away, with your mission successful.

Tomb Raider!
We got a nice little demo from the devs of the new rebooted Tomb Raider, showing our new Lara Crofts humble start as a normal 21 year old girl who has been shipped wreck and captured, and is forced to use her wit to survive. We find her apprehended, hanging upside down. She is able to free herself. As she runs through the cave, she encounters other unfortunate prisoners, strung up and killed in most unpleasant ways. Through some tribulation, after encountering the kidnapper himself, Lara finds herself in a flooded cave, loses her fire, (luckily finds more) and must trudge on. We encounter an amusing little puzzle, which I don't desire to describe. After some familiar cave running, angry man kicking, boulder dodging and giant gaping hole jumping, Lara finds herself climbing out of that dreadful cave, only to see the ruins of her shipwrecked transport. Epic.

Mass Effect 3
We got a sweet demo from Bioware giving us a brilliant little teaser for the up and coming hit, Mass Effect 3. There were three fun/interesting things I feel are worth mentioning. First, we got an awe inspiring glimpse at possibly a new weapon/Omni Tool addition for melee attacks. Essentially, when Shepard approached an enemy, his Omni Tool reformed into a blade, that he thrusts into his foes, who explode. That was cool. Secondly, the first ever Krogan female is showcased, being rescued by Shepard. Also cool. Finally, although primarily a technological gimic, Bioware has implemented voice recognition with Kinect for ME3. You can select your dialogue, position your teammates, and use your teams abilities by speaking them with Kinect voice recognition. Kind of cool.

Gears of War 3
Campaign Demo. Cliffy B and Ice T played a small portion of the GoW3 campaign, in which, some big monster was killed. Pretty typical, but very Epic. (pun intended)

Completely remastered campaign, and multiplayer. Halo one, with an HD finish. There goes my holiday season.

Teaser trailers! How I loathe and love thee.
Right at the end of Microsoft's Press Conference, after showing us about 30minutes of shit Kinect features, and stupid Kinect "games", as the conference was shutting down, the Halo 4 teaser trailer flashed up on the monitors. Master Chief has been in cryogenic sleep, and suddenly Cortana is crying for him to wake up, she needs his help. What is so urgent. The chief quickly jumps into action, flying to front of his wrecking ship, to see what he must do. As he reaches the opening, he sees a giant looming space ship, pulling his vessel into an opening that you can imagine, won't be housing a friendly welcome.
