It's official. Bioshock Infinite has been snatching up awards faster than Sarah Palin can screw up a history story we all learned in elementary school. Why has this been the case? Well, it's Bioshock, and from looking at the trailers and that old 10 minute demo it looks outstanding. But apparently, it's even more amazing than we thought, because game journalists have been gushing over a 14 minute demo that was shown behind closed doors at E3. The only problem is the rest of us haven't seen a damn second of it. Until now. In order to advertise the full demo being shown on Spike TV on July 7th, which will actually give you a reason to watch Spike TV, the first two minutes have been released for your viewing pleasure.
Scratch?! Roscoe?! I'm such a sucker for early 1900's lingo.
While I'm excited over everything new I see, there has been one huge consistent for me whenever we get more information on Infinite. I already love Elizabeth. Past demos brought out that protective feeling we got from Bioshock 2, but this has shown us a whole new side to this mysterious girl. Mainly that she's absolutely adorable. The more I see of her, the more apparent it is that Infinite could be another huge stepping stone in video game characterization. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go deal with the fact that I'll be giving Spike TV ratings... and that this is the third day in a row that my air conditioning has been out and my apartment is 90 degrees on the inside. I'm not making that up. *glug glug glug*
