Eiji Aonuma Says Majora's Mask 3DS Not Impossible (Maybe)

I have a weird affection for Majora's Mask. In some ways, I have more nostalgia for it than I do Ocarina of Time (it's a long story). So naturally, when I heard the news that Majora's Mask for the 3DS could be a possibility I kinda freaked. It's nowhere near a for sure thing, though.

Take your nightmare fuel like a man.
As Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma told Nintendo Power, “One of the big things that made [the Ocarina of Time] remake possible was that there was an outpour of emotions from people who said they would like to see this game done.” Basically, that means that if enough fans generate that kind of support for a Majora's Mask remake, it could very well happen. Aonuma also talked about some welcome variations, saying that "a handheld Majora's Mask where you could kind of just set things down on your own time - close it, set it aside and come back to it later - might be a gameplay element some fans will actually take to.”

Majora's Mask has always appeared to be a polarizing game in my experience, but I for one would love to see this done. Here's hoping us fans can generate enough support.
