Final Fantasy XI Port to the Vita

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Why?

Oh, oh no wait. I got it, I got it. Everyone hated FF XIV because it wasn't FF XI (which I played... for nearly 2 years.) Sooo, now XIV is free to play until you fix it, and make all of your eighteen fans that still play not hate you as much. Well. everyone seemed to like XI alright, sooo... lets just make that game... again.

Joking aside:
It's probably a good idea, bring back that game everyone already liked, but now use it to market a new system. Odds are good it turns out to be a win-win or at least a break even-break even.
What is pretty ccol, is that this will be the first time (save for one other MMO currently in development specifically for the Vita, DUST 514) an MMO exists on a handheld console, which I like the feel of. It brings the genre to a new light, and may spawn some new ideas from some of the more creative developers out there.

Whether or not this is even possible is a debate SE is currently having with itself. porting a PC/PS2 MMO to a small handheld is no small feat, so I guess we shall see.
