It's late, I know. I was out of town, so all I could do was Tweet my birthday wishes to one of my all time favorite video game characters.
This weekend marks the 25th year of the franchises existence. Our Space Bounty Hunter Heroine has seen some ups and downs, but on the hole, a very very successful series of games. The side-scrolling adventures, for me, have always been nothing but video game excellence. Metroid: Fusion is one of my favorite games of all time (and I get it for free because 3DS!!) and these games have lead to the inspiration of other greats, like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Also a favorite of all-timer for me.
Blah blah blah I love video games...
